Lead Engineer

As a Lead Engineer at MechDes Special Equipment, you are responsible for the design of various machines, ranging from cranes and lifting tools to deck equipment. You lead a team of Mechanical and Structural Engineers and act as the technical brain behind solving complex engineering challenges. You safeguard the quality of calculations and designs and ensure everything meets the highest technical standards. In addition to your leadership role, you remain closely involved in the technical content of each project.

Within the Special Equipment department, you work on impressive offshore and heavy machinery projects, often with sustainability and energy transition as key drivers. Together with your team, you take the lead in making smart material choices, solving technical issues and achieving project goals. With the right experience, you can progress to roles such as Senior Lead Engineer, where you take responsibility for strategic decisions and large-scale project coordination. You work with powerful software packages such as Inventor, Ansys Workbench and SolidWorks to realize advanced designs.

You will join a team within the Special Equipment department where collaboration, technical development and innovation are central. You are given the space to further develop in your role as Lead Engineer and to contribute significantly to complex and meaningful projects.
